Cans from Race Fans Food Drive Set for April 17

The 3rd Annual Cans from Race Fans Food Drive to benefit Isabella Community Soup Kitchen, the Central Michigan Chapter of American Red Cross and the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department is Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Ric’s Food Center on Mission Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Come out and fill the racecar hauler of Mt Pleasant Speedway Late Model driver # 18 Alvie “Hot Rod” Haynes with non-perishable food items. All donations stay locally and divided among the charities. Monetary donations also accepted.
Also see several local racecars on display, kids can get autographs, have photos taken with drivers, meet and greet with drivers and get free T-shirts, candy and more.
Prizes also available including autographed Tony Stewart Office Depot Hero Card, boys and girls kids and toddlers and children’s bikes, restaurant gift certificates, burp cloths, Great Lakes Loons baseball tickets, plus FREE food, Biggby coffee and pop courtesy of Pepsi and free Domino’s breadsticks with donation of 2 or more cans! More prizes added daily!!
In addition, the AllStar Performance Michigan Dirt Cup Modified Tour and its various racetracks will be joining the Mt. Pleasant-event to make this a statewide event for many charities across the state of Michigan.
