** Wednesday's scheduled TV commercial tapings have been postponed due to rain until 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8 at the racetrack.  2nd taping to begin around 6 p.m. Everyone welcome. CARS & DRIVERS NEEDED to fill in the background of the commercials at no charge. Come out and fill up the pits with cars and drivers and support your local track. Cost to be in 2nd Commercial to be determined. Sorry for any misunderstandings. Taping will be held if light rain, if stormy weather check the web site or call the track at 989-773-2387. **

** Practices to be held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month with enough participation **

** Thank you to drivers #18 Alvie Haynes (and his son Richard), #711 Chris Wiggins and #13 Andrew Galgoci for displaying their cars on Tuesday, May 6 at the Celebration Cinema to help promote the new movie "Speed Racer." **

 

** Thank you to Street Stock # 7 Kevin Crawford and his race team for coming out and displaying his racecar for a bike-a-thon to support St. Jude's Hospital at Wee Care Child Care and Preschool, Inc. on Thursday, May 1. 

** Friday, May 9 is a full show plus the Best Looking Car Night sponsored by Jake & Debbie Dickman and the Robert "Bob" Whitman Memorial Michigan Modified $750 Special **

** Mt. Pleasant Speedway will be using Raceceivers in 2008, but they are not mandatory. Rich Robinson Jr., driver of the #15 Michigan Modifie00d and owner of Xtreme Racecars will be selling Raceceivers.**


This site is dedicated to my late Grandpa Carl McCrumb (1929-1998), who drove hobby stock #Y4 at the MP Speedway in the late 1950s-60s and taught me everything I know about the wonderful sport of auto racing.
